Membership by Invitation Only

Ten (10) institutions selected from all the sub-regions of Africa will be invited to form the inaugural members of Africa Universities Fund, Inc.

Requirements for Membership

Our membership is by invitation only. Invited member institutions submit an online membership application to the Secretary-General at any time. The application shall set forth that the applicant intends to adhere to the aims, objectives, and By-Laws of the Africa Universities Fund, Inc., USA.

The Board of Directors may then approve the application and ratify the admission of the new members. Upon admission, a member among other things shall submit a proposal detailing priority needs for enhancing teaching and learning, as well as sustaining the public status that benefits poor students and families in their institution, unless otherwise stated.

Monotechnics and Polytechnics and other such tertiary institutions are eligible for membership of AUF.
