The goal of this program is to provide an opportunity for young people in public universities in Africa to acquire the 21-century  professional skills and competency needed to be successful in today's workplace before they graduate.

AUF's Endowed Apprenticeship Fund supports a new type of Apprenticeship. Our Endowed Apprenticeship Program is designed to offer huge incentives to businesses, organizations, and institutions that commit to providing critical on the job professional skills training for young people in new and emerging fields today. The program also provides a stipend for participating students in member universities

AUF is committed to working with governments to provide tax and other incentives to encourage businesses to participate either by supporting the program financially or absorbing students.
